Her nursing specialties includes Oncology, Infusion, and Hospice. She has earned certifications in Oncology and Hospice specialties and is a CHAP certified consultant. She has extensive working experience and expertise in Home Health, Hospice, and Home Care.

Karen worked for 21st Century Healthcare Consulting Services as a field surveyor for Home Health, Home Care, and Hospice conducting mock surveys and currently. Additionally, Karen is a CHAP Certified consultant. As the Director of Clinical Services, she lead both the Clinical Team and Licensing Team. She was the key developer and instructor for the nationally renowned monthly Boot Camp Trainings for Skilled Home Health, Infusion, Wound Management, ICD Coding, Home Care, and Hospice held by 21st Century Health Care Consulting Services.

Karen has a pristine record of results with state, Medicare, CHAP, JC, and ACHC surveys. She leads the consulting services team with a focus on developing the agency’s quality program and ensuring a solid foundation from the start. She has been instrumental in developing one of the most comprehensive, simplified, and CHAP Certified QAPI programs in the industry.

Karen is a Registered Nurse with more than 37 years of nursing experience. She has an extensive background in Oncology Nursing where she served as the Clinical Manager of a leading NCI Unit in Atlanta. In the early 90’s, as demand for qualified chemo and infusion nurses increased for home health, Karen changed directions and ventured out into the Home Health Industry. She has been working in the industry ever since in various roles as an Administrator, Director of Nursing, an Industry Consultant, and currently the Director of Clinical Services at 21st Century Health Care Consulting Services.
